Twenty-Three Weeks Old

Talking Through Babies 'R' Us

You love to talk!  Mommy captured you talking during one of our shopping trips to Babies 'R' Us.  Two people stopped to tell me that I have a talker on my hands!  You crack us up!

 

A Trip to Houma

Daddy went to Mexico City, so Mommy decided to take you to Houma for an overnight visit.  You visited Pop Pop's shipyard, ate at A-Bear's, and went to Granny and Grandpa's.  What a fun couple of days! 

Twenty-Two Weeks Old

Five Months Old

You turned 5 months old today!  You love to smile, laugh, and squeal.  We spent the weekend at the camp, so we took your 5 month pictures there.

Twenty-One Weeks Old

Time please slow down.  Mommy had to put away some of your 6 month clothes and take down your 9 month clothes today. You also moved up to size 3 diapers today.  Mommy cried a little bit... you're growing so fast!  We love you so much.

 

 

Catherine's First Valentine's Day

We LOVE you sweet girl!  We had a fun day with you today.  Daddy and I took a walk with you to Perkins Rowe and bought you some books.  Then we ate at California Pizza Kitchen and walked around before coming home. We are so thankful for our sweet valentine.

Ash Wednesday

We went to 8:15 mass on Ash Wednesday, and you received your first ashes.

Later we had a play date with Julia, and we did valentine arts and crafts.  We made a footprint hammer for Daddy, a handprint crab for the camp, and we made a handprint heart for Teita and Jeddo.  We also made handprint hogs for some friends that said, "Hogs and Kisses!"

Your name was in the St. Jude weekly bulletin for being baptized recently.

 

Mardi Gras 2016

Daddy and I went to the 50th Anniversary Endymion Extravaganza this year.  We brought you to New Orleans with us, and Teita stayed with you while we went.  The following day, we drove down to Houma and you went to your first official Mardi Gras parade.  Mommy and Daddy played defense the entire parade making sure nothing hit you in the head.  It was a beautiful day, and we made great memories!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mommy and Daddy did not want you to get hit with beads, so we stood guard over you during the entire parade!
