Santa Pictures

This picture says it all...

Catherine was crying before she even walked into the mall.  Joseph and Caroline began crying when they saw Santa sitting in his chair.  Daddy and I knew you all wouldn't sit with Santa, so we asked him to hide behind his chair.  We all sat on his chair, and even though you three couldn't see Santa, you still cried!  This was the best picture we could get.  When we got up to leave, Santa belted out, "Ho! Ho! Ho!" and the three of you SCREAMED so LOUD!!  We bought you all chocolate chip cookies just to calm you down, and then we rode the carousel.  Caroline was the only one who enjoyed the ride (two rides!  We accidentally got $20 worth of tokens!).  Fingers crossed next year at least one of you like Santa!

Teddy Ruxpin

When Mommy was about four years old, Mimi and Pop Pop gave me this Teddy Ruxpin.  I loved this toy so much and can remember going to bed listening to it every night.  Over the years, Mimi kept it in the attic.  About a year ago, Pop Pop fixed it and made it work again.  Catherine didn't like it a few months ago when I introduced her to it.  She was scared of it.  But tonight, I introduced him to her again, and she liked him.  Makes my heart smile, and brings back sweet memories of when I was a little girl.
