Catherine's Birthday Book Club Book at St. Jude

Last school year, parents were given the opportunity to buy a book for their child for the St. Jude Birthday Book Club.  The money was used to buy library books, and on the inside cover of each book is his/her name and birthday.  Catherine got to take her book home today for us to read together.

You both colored these birthday cakes at school.  Joseph, your teachers were very impressed with how many colors you used and how well you colored.  Caroline, when I asked you if you like to color, you said, "I'd rather jump and laugh!"

Mimi and Pop Pop joined us for a fun morning and picnic at Highland Road Park!  What a gorgeous day!

Caroline and Joseph Meet Their MDO Teachers

Mommy brought Caroline and Joseph to meet their Jefferson Baptist MDO teachers today, Mrs. Anita and Mrs. Melanie.  They were a little shy at first, but quickly warmed up when they saw the cars on the mat.  Their classroom looks so cute and is decorated with colorful owls.  It's going to be a great year!  Time please go by slowly.
