Book Character Day

 St. Jude kicked off the Book Fair with Book Character Day.  Students were allowed to dress up like a favorite book character. Joseph dressed as the Very Hungry Caterpillar, Caroline dressed as the Very Hungry Butterfly, and Catherine dressed as the Rainbow Fish and handed out sparkly scales.  You three had fun dressing up, and Mommy had fun making your costumes (minus the butterfly wings-- I bought those!)  It was a fun day!

Catherine's 6th Birthday

Going to bed for the last time as a 5 year old.  I can't believe it!

Caroline made a sweet birthday card for Catherine.

Catherine got a desk for her birthday a few days ago, so she got some things to go on her desk on her actual birthday.  Pens, a tape dispenser, pencils...

And right after school, we went to Dr. Elise Scallan's office to get Catherine's ears pierced!  No tears!

They put numbing cream on her lobes.

They're beautiful.  Thank you Dr. Scallan!

For dinner, we had dinner with our families at BRQ.  They showered you with birthday gifts, hugs and kisses, and lots of love!

Catherine's First Day of Gymnastics

Catherine began taking gymnastics lessons today at LA Gold.  You were so excited, and when Mommy picked you up, you asked if you could go back every day.  Right now you want to be in the Olympics like Gabby Douglas and Simone Biles.  (You checked out a library book on Gymnastics and read about them.)  Dream BIG my girl! You can do anything if you work hard!!
