Joseph's Finger Surgery

Joseph has been having a bump on his left middle finger since he was a toddler.  Your pediatrician always said to leave it alone as long as it is not bothering you.  Since you started learning piano and playing sports, it has started to bother you, so we moved forward with having it removed.  You were so brave!  You smiled during pre-op and didn't cry at all.  Surgery went well, and you were back snuggling on the couch in no time.  You have to wear the dressing for 5 days and will have it removed next week.  Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!

This Special Nativity

This nativity scene is so special to Mommy.  I remember setting it up for MiMi when I was a kid.  I always loved it and can remember it so vividly.  I took it out of MiMi's attic today, and it was just as I remembered it!   They told me my grandfather, Paw Paw Chiasson, built the manger.  I loved it before, but I love it so much more now.  Joseph helped set it up in our foyer, and I love how my babies will now start the tradition of setting it up.  And every time I look at it, I'm reminded of Paw Paw Chiasson and of such special Christmas memories.

Thanksgiving 2023

Happy Thanksgiving!  We got home from a wonderful trip to Disney World yesterday, so feeling very thankful for a wonderful trip and time together.  MiMi broke her arm Monday and had surgery yesterday, so it wasn't the Thanksgiving we were planning.  We still gathered at her house and ate lunch together.  MiMi sat in her chair, and we made sure to clean up after ourselves.  You and your cousins made Oreo turkeys!  Then we went over to Teita and Jeddo's house for dinner.  Joe Joe came in town, so it's always fun seeing him!  Y'all love spending time with Camilla and Antoine, too.  

We have so much to be thankful for, but the biggest thing I'm thankful for is the three of you and Daddy. I thank God for the four of you every day. I love you!!
