Twenty-Seven Weeks Old

You are officially saying "Da Da Da Da".  You are not looking at Daddy and calling him "Da Da" yet, but it won't be long!
This was your first time sitting on grass.  You did not like it one bit!

Here is a picture of Daddy when he was about two years old.  That's definitely your Daddy!

Catherine's First Easter

Your first Easter weekend was a great one!  On Saturday, we went to Say-Say and Uncle Will's house for a crawfish boil.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous!  Granny and Grandpa gave you an Easter book, small stuffed bunny, and money for your piggy bank.  Mimi and Pop Pop gave you a fish bubble and a barnyard toy. Say-Say, Uncle Will, and your cousins gave you a stuffed bunny, chew toy, and Pat the Zoo book.  You are so loved!  On Easter Sunday, the weather was terrible! We woke up and showed you what the Easter Bunny brought you, and we played with your toys most of the morning.  Say-Say, Uncle Will, and your cousins came over for a few minutes after church to take pictures with you.  Teita and Jeddo came by for a visit later in the day.

Talk Talk Talk!

Eating Your Veggies

Catherine Visits the Easter Bunny

On your six month old birthday, we took you to see the Easter Bunny for the first time.  Mommy had to wake you up from a nap to bring you, and you were not very happy about that.  You were very serious when we placed you on the Easter Bunny's lap, and you did not want to smile.  We still were able to capture a great picture, though!  After visiting the Easter Bunny, we went eat lunch with Say-Say, Elizabeth, and Grace.

Happy Half Birthday! (Twenty-Six Weeks Old)

Mommy had to bring you to the doctor last Thursday for your first cold.  While you were there, they measured you for your six-month wellness visit.  Your weight was 17 lbs. 15 oz. (87%), your head circumference was 17.52 in. (95%), and your height was 28" (99%).  The nurse said you are the height of an average one year old!  Mommy and Daddy can't believe it!  You are growing so fast and are very strong.  You are sitting up by yourself, still rolling from tummy to back, and you put everything in your mouth.

Elizabeth and Grace's First Communion

We celebrated your cousins Elizabeth and Grace making their First Communion this weekend.  You were so good in church, and you had fun celebrating at Ruffino's afterwards.  You are blessed with such loving cousins!
