Happy New Year's Eve!

Since Joseph was still not feeling right, we stayed home today for New Year's Eve.  Instead of counting down to midnight, we counted down to noon!  We blew horns and yelled "Happy New Year!"  Daddy and I stayed up til midnight and watched the ball drop on TV.  It's hard to believe it's already 2019.  Can't wait to see what blessings 2019 holds for us.  We are so thankful for everything God gave to us during 2018, especially our new home.

Twenty-Four Months

Happy 2nd Birthday Joseph and Caroline!

Happy second birthday to my sensitive, cautious, puppy-loving Joseph and my fearless, tough, and non meat-eater Caroline.  You two bring so much love and happiness into me and Daddy's lives.  We love you so much, and we pray you always know how special you are.
Happy birthday Caroline and "Buddy"!

Mommy was sick in bed all day the day before your birthday, so we had a low-key day at home.  The three of you and Daddy played outside most of the day while Mommy caught up on chores inside. Joseph got sick the night of his birthday.  Stomach bugs are no fun!  Catherine had it, then Daddy, then Mommy, then Joseph... Caroline got Fifth's Disease a few days later.
Now that everyone is feeling better, I'm praying we can all stay healthy for a while!

You each got a scooter for your birthday!

We didn't get a picture with Teita and Jeddo on Christmas,
so we took one in front of our tree today instead!

Merry Christmas 2018

We had a wonderful Christmas this year!  We went to 6:30 mass on Christmas Eve. Mimi, Pop Pop, Say Say, Uncle Will, your cousins, Teita, and Jeddo joined us.  Then everyone came to our house for ham and cheese sliders, salad, and chips.  Pop Pop read "Twas' the Night Before Christmas", and all of you listened the entire time!  You loved the story and laughed at a few parts.  After listening to the story, we put out cookies and reindeer food, and then Catherine sprinkled the reindeer food her teacher made her in the front yard.
Christmas morning we had fun seeing what Santa brought to you.  Mimi and Pop Pop slept over, so you had fun showing them what Santa brought you.  We all ate breakfast together, and they soon left to go visit Granny and Aunt Frances later that day.  Teita and Jeddo came over around 10:00, and you all showed them what Santa brought you, too.  We had fun swinging on the swingset they gave you, and then y'all played in the driveway for a little while.  After lunch and naps, we had a lazy afternoon playing outside.
What a wonderful Christmas!
