Happy birthday America! We began our Fourth of July with patriotic face pancakes! Later, we went to the Schmeeckle's house for some pool party fun. Catherine played with sparklers for the first time, and Caroline and Joseph loved throwing poppers on the ground. You couldn't quite throw them hard enough for them to pop, but Joseph figured out he could throw them on the ground and then step on them to make them pop!
Later that night, after Caroline and Joseph went to bed, Catherine, Mommy, and Daddy watched the Macy's Fireworks in New York on television. Catherine loved seeing the long display of fireworks! It was a wonderful day with friends and snuggling with my babies when we got home.
