Catherine's Easter Program at JB MDO

This morning, Catherine had her Easter Program at Jefferson Baptist.  It was originally supposed to be on April 18th, but it was canceled due to bad weather.  Mommy, Daddy, Caroline, Joseph, Jeddo, Mimi, and Pop Pop were all there to see you sing your songs with your classmates.  (Teita was in Mexico City, and Say Say just had surgery, so they couldn't attend.)  You were very shy, and you weren't quite sure when you turned the corner of the church.  Once your teacher brought you to your seat, you sat very still and cried for only a little while.  You didn't sing, but we were so proud of you for standing up with your class.  Mommy and Daddy were both shy when we were your age, so I guess you get your shyness from us!

Jeddo and Daddy left immediately after, so we didn't get a picture with them. 

Twenty-Eight Months Old

Picking Strawberries at Mrs. Heather's Strawberry Patch

We took a road trip to Mrs. Heather's Strawberry Patch today and picked strawberries!  Each of you got your own bucket and filled them up with fresh strawberries.  It was a beautiful day and so much fun watching you all pick them.  Afterwards, we played outside on the swings, merry-go-round, slides, and so much more!  We even ran into Anne, Philip, and Julia Watson!  We love making these sweet memories with the three of you!  

Catherine's First Race

Catherine's ran/walked her first race this morning!  You participated in the Seize the Day Fun Run 1 Mile, and you did a great job!  You began walking, but then realized Jacob Schmeeckle was ahead of you and wanted to catch up to him.  So! You ran!  You probably ran about 1/4 of the mile, and I am so proud of you!  Caroline and Joseph wanted to run with us so badly... I think next year will be their turn to join in!  Mommy and Daddy ran the 5K afterwards and pushed you guys in the stroller.  We had fun hanging out with the Schmeeckles and Chapmans after listening to Blue Verse play.  It was a gorgeous morning and a great way to kick off the weekend!
