Since COVID took away our parades this year, people all around New Orleans decorated their homes to look like floats. Today, we went to New Orleans to see some of the house floats along St. Charles. They were beautiful and SO creative! Caroline and Joseph's favorite was the dinosaur house, and Catherine's favorite was the Circus house. After we walked around looking for houses, we went to Floats in the Oaks. Mardi Gras krewes sent one or two floats to City Park where people can drive around and see them. It was so interesting to see the floats up close! We missed going to a Houma parade or two this year, but we had a fun-filled Mardi Gras outing today.
Daddy had a meeting that he couldn't get out of, so we were so glad MiMi and Pop Pop could join us!
